PCB Layout

PCB Layout Design Services

Move your approved schematic into a PCB layout that fits your enclosure and production requirements. Share your design files, board outline and routing constraints with GlobalWellPCB to scope placement, routing and the release package.

  • Component placement
  • Routing & stackup
  • Production files

Coordinate the electrical, mechanical and manufacturing details in one board design.

Service scope

Plan the board around your product

The layout scope follows your schematic, mechanical envelope and critical electrical requirements. Share these inputs early so placement and routing decisions can be reviewed together.

  • Board setup and stackup

Review the board outline, mounting holes, layer arrangement, materials and manufacturing constraints.

  • Component placement

Coordinate connectors, keepouts, height limits, power sections and assembly access.

  • Routing and power distribution

Address signal connections, reference planes, critical nets and the routing constraints you provide.

  • Release preparation

Review design rule findings and organize the agreed fabrication and assembly outputs.

Your deliverables

Files and feedback for your next step

Confirm the required formats and deliverables when we define your project scope.

  • Editable PCB source

Request the board database in the agreed CAD format.

  • Fabrication outputs

Agree the Gerber or other CAM format, drill files and fabrication drawing required for your build.

  • Assembly information

Include placement data, assembly drawings and a revision-aligned BOM where required.

  • Review and release notes

Track design rule findings, accepted exceptions and the requirements used for release.

What to send

Start with the information you already have

Send the available files together and identify the revision. Tell us which details are still to be confirmed.

  • Electrical design

Approved schematic, netlist, BOM, footprints and any existing PCB source.

  • Mechanical definition

Board dimensions, outline, mounting holes, connector locations, keepouts and enclosure constraints.

  • Routing requirements

Stackup preference, power requirements, critical nets, impedance targets and length constraints where applicable.

Working together

From your enquiry to the next design step

  1. Submit the design inputs

Share the schematic, mechanical information and the board requirements.

  2. Confirm placement and stackup

Review the proposed board arrangement and constraints before detailed routing.

  3. Review routing and checks

Resolve layout findings and approve any design changes.

  4. Prepare the release package

Confirm the revision and required output files for fabrication and assembly.

Impedance targets and critical routing constraints should be confirmed for your actual stackup. Simulation and product performance validation are scoped separately.

Your questions

Before you send your files

Can you update an existing PCB layout?

Send the editable board source, matching schematic and required changes. Include the current revision and any known manufacturing or assembly issues.

Do you need the enclosure drawing?

Mechanical information helps define the board outline, connector positions, mounting holes and component height limits. Share drawings or a 3D model if available.

Can I specify controlled impedance?

Yes. Include the impedance targets, critical nets and proposed stackup. The construction and routing requirements need project-specific confirmation.

Will the release include assembly files?

Tell us which outputs your assembler needs. Placement data, assembly drawings and related files can be included in the agreed release scope.

Ready to move your design into layout?

Send your schematic, board outline and key routing requirements to discuss the next step.
