PCB & PCBA RFQ Checklist
Bring the technical scope and open questions into one reviewable brief.
One consistent file set, with a clear revision.
Include any questions for your project contact.
State what you are asking to have quoted
Separate the product definition from the commercial request.
Bare PCB fabrication
Describe construction, quantity basis, dimensions, special features, electrical requirements, acceptance criteria and requested delivery. Identify which files are ready and which values are provisional.
PCB fabrication and assembly
Add the selected BOM, variant, sourcing responsibilities, placement data and assembly instructions. Identify programming, inspection, test and packaging requirements where relevant.
Engineering review first
List fixed requirements, open decisions and requested advice. Ask for feasibility review without labeling the provisional package as a production release.
Move from quote readiness to production release
- 01
Review the quotation scope
Confirm what is included and excluded: fabrication, parts, assembly, programming, fixtures, tests, reports, packaging and shipment.
- 02
Resolve engineering questions
Review proposed materials, geometry changes, substitutions, panelization and test coverage. Record approvals and rejected alternatives.
- 03
Confirm one release configuration
Align the final dataset, BOM, drawings and instructions. Archive the approved manifest and any authorized deviations.
- 04
Authorize production separately
The order and approval process should identify who can release the build. A downloaded brief is neither a purchase order nor an acceptance certificate.
Download the preparation files
Download the checklists and templates below without signing in or submitting a form.
RFQ review checklist
22 review items with Pending, Ready and Not applicable status fields.
CSV · 3.1 KBRelease & coordinate manifest
Identify the file revision, stackup and coordinate conventions, and list any details you need help confirming.
TXT · 2.8 KBPCB & PCBA workbook
Eight sheets: instructions, BOM and placement inputs/examples, RFQ review and batch arithmetic.
XLSX · 19.5 KBFrequently asked questions
Does downloading the checklist send an inquiry?
No. Downloading a checklist only saves a preparation file. Complete the relevant items, then use the separate online quote form to send your requirements and project files.
Are my entries saved after I leave the page?
This page provides downloadable templates, rather than an editable online brief. Save your completed checklist in your own project files.
Can I request a quote with pending items?
Yes. Identify the open questions in your completed checklist or quote request. Engineering review can clarify them; unresolved production requirements still need an agreed decision before manufacturing release.
What does Not applicable mean?
It means the requirement genuinely does not apply to the selected scope. Add a reason. Do not use it as a substitute for missing information or an unanswered engineering question.
Does 100% checklist readiness mean the design passed DFM?
No. It only reports the status you selected for the applicable preparation items. It does not analyze manufacturability, verify performance or establish production acceptance.
