Turnkey PCB Assembly
Arrange PCB fabrication, component sourcing and assembly through one project team. Send your design files and BOM to define the parts, build operations, inspection and delivery included in your turnkey order.
A complete PCB assembly order, with clear ownership
Turnkey PCB assembly is useful when you want assembled boards without purchasing every component and coordinating each manufacturing stage yourself. GlobalWellPCB reviews the PCB files, component BOM and assembly scope as a connected project.
You keep control of the design and approved part selection. The quotation should identify what we supply, what you supply and the checks or additional operations included before the boards are ready for delivery.
Connect board fabrication, sourcing and assembly in one reviewed scope.
Use exact MPNs and written alternative approvals rather than an open-ended substitute list.
See boards, parts, setup and additional work as explicit cost items.
Add firmware, tests or enclosure work when they are needed for your deliverable.
Choose the work your order needs
Full turnkey assembly
Request bare PCB supply, BOM procurement and assembly together. A complete, approved BOM allows sourcing questions and assembly needs to be reviewed before materials are purchased.
Partial turnkey assembly
Supply specialist ICs, long-lead parts or inventory you already own while requesting the remaining items through us. Mark the owner and quantity for each line so nothing is omitted or purchased twice.
Assembly from a customer kit
Provide the boards and component kit for a defined assembly order. Include packaging, part identification, assembly losses and kit availability when planning the release date.
How the project moves forward
- 01
Submit the full package
Include fabrication data, BOM, CPL, drawing, quantity and your delivery requirements.
- 02
Resolve sourcing questions
Confirm approved part numbers, alternatives, customer-supplied items and any availability changes.
- 03
Approve the quotation and release
Agree board construction, assembly route, test scope and the configuration to be built.
- 04
Receive the agreed assembly
Review the delivered quantity, configuration, packaging and order-specific inspection or test records.
What to send for a useful quotation
| File or requirement | Details to include |
|---|---|
| PCB fabrication files | Gerber and drill data, board construction and any panel requirements. |
| Component BOM | Exact manufacturer and MPN, quantity, fitted references and approved alternatives. |
| Placement file | CPL / pick-and-place data identifying X/Y, side, rotation and reference designator. |
| Assembly drawing | Polarity, DNP positions, mechanical details and special component instructions. |
| Supply ownership and alternatives | Identify supplier-sourced and customer-supplied BOM lines; list approved alternative MPNs. |
| Finished-board requirements | Specify programming, tests, labels, packaging and any cable or enclosure integration. |
Include the quantity, current revision and required delivery date. If a decision is still open, identify it in your message so the review can address it.
Know what will be checked and returned
| Review area | What it covers | What to specify |
|---|---|---|
| Correct components and configuration | Match the assembly to the approved BOM, drawing and DNP list. | Keep alternative approvals with the order revision. |
| Assembly inspection | Choose visible and hidden-joint inspection around the packages on your board. | Confirm critical-device coverage and acceptance criteria. |
| Product readiness | Define programming and functional checks separately from assembly inspection. | Provide the fixture, procedure and records you need. |
State any unit or batch identification, packaging and inspection or test records you need with delivery. The quotation confirms the operations and evidence included.
What shapes your quotation
A useful quotation describes the complete deliverable and its supply responsibilities. Include these items in the review so you can compare like-for-like scope.
- PCB fabrication and component procurement, including quoted part alternatives.
- Assembly setup, stencil, handling and any customer-supplied kit dependencies.
- Programming, test fixtures, coating or box build work specifically included in the order.
The delivery plan follows file readiness, approved materials and the requested operations. Share your target date and any items already available to help review the schedule.
Frequently asked questions
Does turnkey include every possible operation?
The agreed quotation defines the package. Programming, special tests, coating, cables and enclosure integration should be requested explicitly rather than assumed to be included.
Can I approve component alternatives?
Yes. Provide your approved alternative list or request proposals for review. Electrical behaviour, package, footprint and intended use need to match your design before a change is released.
Can I send selected ICs myself?
Use a partial-turnkey arrangement and identify those BOM lines. Include material quantities, packaging and kit arrival so sourcing and assembly can be coordinated.
What do I receive at the end?
The configured assemblies and agreed delivery records. Specify firmware identity, board marking, packaging and any inspection or test report requirements when requesting the quotation.
