Your application

IoT assemblies with the right connectivity and configuration

Connected products combine sensing, communications and power management in a small system. Your assembly order should identify how the board is powered, which communication interfaces are fitted and how each device is configured.

GlobalWellPCB reviews board construction, components and programming together. Include modules, antenna connections, identity data and the checks needed before the assemblies enter your product integration stage.

Typical board roles to include in your enquiry

Connected sensor nodes

Define sensor interfaces, supply conditions and active or sleep-state checks. Identify calibration and any battery interface requirements.

Gateways and connected controllers

Boards joining networks or field devices need the correct connectors, modules and firmware. Provide communication protocols and test equipment access.

Tracking and portable products

Compact assemblies need antenna, battery and enclosure interfaces to fit the product. Supply installation drawings and unit-configuration instructions.

Review areaWhat it coversWhat to specify
Population and interfacesMatch modules, connectors and antenna connections to the approved BOM.Specify variants and critical interface details.
Firmware and identityKeep the released image and device configuration aligned.Provide verification and unit-record requirements.
Connected operationEvaluate the requested communication and power-state checks.Define fixtures, network environment and limits.

State any unit or batch identification, packaging and inspection or test records you need with delivery. The quotation confirms the operations and evidence included.

Compare the complete order

What shapes your quotation

A useful quotation describes the complete deliverable and its supply responsibilities. Include these items in the review so you can compare like-for-like scope.

  • Module and sensor BOM, board density and power architecture.
  • Programming, identity assignment and product integration operations.
  • Communication fixtures, power measurements and requested traceability.

The delivery plan follows file readiness, approved materials and the requested operations. Share your target date and any items already available to help review the schedule.

Answers before you order

Frequently asked questions

Can devices be programmed before shipment?

Provide the released image, programming interface and required verification. Identity assignment or secure provisioning needs a defined input and record procedure.

Does assembly establish wireless product approval?

Assembly delivers the specified hardware and checks. Radio or end-product approval has a separate test scope; describe any evidence needed for your programme.

Can sleep current be measured?

Request the operating state, supply conditions, measurement method and limits, with suitable firmware and fixtures.

How is the manufacturing quotation prepared?

Send the released files, quantity, BOM and acceptance package. Board construction, material supply, assembly operations and requested tests determine the reviewed scope and schedule.
